Acquisition furthers industry consolidation

Huntington Beach, CA, November 30, 2003 - SurfCity Networks, a customer service leader in
Broadband Internet Access, announced its acquisition of Access North America's
broadband customers, a local leader in Broadband Internet Access. SurfCity
Networks brings a heritage of strong, responsive customer service and one of the
fastest nationwide networks available with over 100,000 miles of fiber optic
cable to Access North America customers.
David Saylor, SurfCity Networks CEO stated, "Now more than ever,
it is imperative to make operations as efficient as possible to provide maximum
value to the customer at the lowest price. We are taking advantage of economies
of scale and reduction in redundant infrastructure to make this acquisition
successful for SurfCity Networks, Access North America, and, most importantly,
our customers. "
Mr. Saylor
added that unlike other mergers and acquisitions that have occurred within the industry,
these corporate and residential customers will continue
to be our number one concern. This acquisition will allow Access North America
customers to continue to receive the highest levels of service and support to
which they are accustomed.
The company will
incorporate the new customer circuits into its Huntington Beach, CA and
Irvine, CA facilities.
